Real Madrid's Brazilian midfielder Emerson is desperate to leave the Spanish champions to join Milan. The former Juventus midfielder seems to be out of coach Bernd Schuster's plans and he is keen to sign for the European Champions. "I am not happy here. It seems incredible and every now and then I think it is awful that a Real Madrid player says he wants to leave," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I have another two years in my contract, but if I have the choice then I certainly want to leave. I have spoken of Milan many times, they are my objective." Real raised their asking price for the 31-year old midfield man to 11.8 million Euros, a price tag which could halt his transfer to San Siro. "If Real do not lower their demands, they must be prepared to accept the responsibility and consequences of keeping me here." Emerson moved to Real in 2006 to rejoin his former Juve coach Fabio Capello.
