Amir Azmi said on Wednesday he will travel to Hungry in a few days to link up with Debreceni VSC after failing to strike a one-year loan deal with Ismaili. The international defender considered terminating his contract with the Hungarian double holders and return to the Egyptian League after Debreceni stumbled in the UEFA Champions League. "We had lengthy negotiations with Ismaili chairman Yehia Al-Koumi but didn't reach an agreement," Azmi told FilGoal.com. Debreceni lost 1-0 to Elfsborg at home in the Champions League's second qualifying round and are on the brink to exit the tournament. Azmi joined Debreceni on a one-year loan from Saudi side Al-Shabab.
