Published in FilGoal on 09 - 07 - 2007

Hilal manager, Ricardo Ferreira expressed his delight following his team's victory over Esperance 2-0 in the CAF Champions league promising to go all the way to this year title.
“I'm happy that my players showed their real caliber and I promise we will keep improving this season to go all the way to the title,” said the Brazilian tactician.
“My men were more like heroes and they are creating their own history right now. All the other teams will have to wary off as they will face the same fate. My players are full of strength and determination and we showed it in front of the Tunisians after being robbed against Ahli.”
Hilal beat Espeance 2-0 thanks to a brace from Nigerian striker Keleche in the 29th and 91st minute to climb to the second place of group B behind leaders Ahli.
On the other hand, Esperance coach Fawzi Benzarti hailed the Sudanese players' determination and bravery.
“They have very good players in attack and defense. Their pair of strikers earned them the points of the game. It's a very solid group and we were dominated during this game.”
“We are still hoping of going through. It's harder now but he didn't lose hope. Our next encounter will be against Ahli and we will have to work hard for it.”
Ahli will meet Esperance on July 20th in Cairo.
