Egypt concede 8th straight defeat in World League after losing to Russia 3-1 on Sunday night at Moscow in pool C.
The Pharaohs played their best game in the tournament and forced the Russians to give up all they had to snatch the two points of the game.
Egypt won the first set 26-24 but then the hosts made a strong comeback and won three sets in a row 26-24, 25-17, 25-22.
Russia keep the top of the group with 15 points while Egypt remain at the bottom with 8 points from 8 matches.
