Ittihad sack board member Turki

Alexandria- Hani Al-Awadi: Ittihad have sacked board member Hesham Turki due to his involvement in a brawl with some of the club's fans.
After Ittihad were handed a 2-1 home defeat to Ismaili in the Egyptian League on May 21st, sections of the fans insulted Turki, accusing him of being responsible for the team's dismal form.
"The board took the decision after holding a meeting on Wednesday. Turkis' behavior was totally unacceptable," Ittihad vice-president Mohamed Moselhi told FilGoal.com on Thursday.
The Alexandria-based club risked being relegated from the Egyptian League but managed to secure their safety in the last match, finishing in 13th place with 31 points.
