Pressure is on Zamalek, says Al-Faisali coach
Published in FilGoal on 17 - 04 - 2007

Al-Faisali coach Adnan Hamad is confident that his team could oust Zamalek from the Arab Champions League (ACL) semi-finals, claiming that the local fans could have a negative impact on the Egyptians who are under great pressure to win the game.
"The pressure from the fans could be in our advantage," Hamad told Filgoal.com ahead of the Tuesday clash.
"We are aware that Zamalek fans are desperate to see their team in the ACL final, especially after the team's exit from the CAF Champions League, and we could benefit from that."
The first leg in Jordan ended in a goalless stalemate, but the Iraqi tactician does not see much of a problem for his team regarding the home draw.

The first-leg ended in a goalless draw
"I don't think that the first leg score line is too bad for us, because we proved before that we are capable of winning away games," added the former Iraq manager.
The Arab Union Football Association (UAFA) is yet to decide on the venue to host the final, but the fact that Cairo is a possible candidate does not worry Hamad.
"Our main focus now is to win the game, it's not an important issue whether the final will be in Jeddah or Cairo. All we want is to be there."
Hamad will hope to come out as a winner just as he did in his previous visits to Egypt, when he represented Iraq as a player and helped them beat Egypt for the first time ever and then guided Faisali to victory over ENPPI in the ACL earlier this season.
