Tottenham cruise to UEFA Cup quarter-finals

Tottenham Hotspur, Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen and Osasuna have all qualified to the UEFA Cup quarter-finals after overcoming their opponents on Wednesday.
In London, Tottenham cruised to another 3-2 victory over Sporting Braga of Portugal, 6-4 on aggregate.
Young midfielder Tom Huddlestone headed into his own net to give the visitors the lead after 24 minutes.
Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov scored two goals in the 28th and 42nd minutes to put Spurs in charge.
Amaral Andrade equalized for the visitors one minute after the hour mark but French winger Steed Malbranque ensured Spurs' superiority14 minutes from time.
Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly was introduced in the 82nd minute instead of Aaron Lennon while his compatriot Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' was kept on the substitutes' bench.

Leverkusen secure passage to the quarter-finals
Earlier in Germany, Leverkusen crushed French side Lens 3-0.
Ukrainian striker Andriy Voronin gave the German side the lead in 36th minute before veteran Bosnian Sergej Barbarez doubled the score ten minutes into the second half.
Brazilian center back Juan completed the rout on 70 minutes to hand his team a 4-2 aggregate win.
In Pamplona, a second half goal from Cameroonian international Achille Webo gave Osasuna a 1-0 home victory over Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers, who were held to a 1-1 draw in the first-leg.
Two second-half strikes from Clemens Fritz and Portuguese international Hugo Almeida earned Werder Bremen a 2-0 home victory over Celta Vigo, 3-0 on aggregate.
