Spanish side Valencia have fined defender David Navarro for his assault on Inter Milan's Nicolas Burdisso in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second-leg match on Wednesday. Spanish daily Marca said that the sum of the fine is yet to be known. Navarro rushed from the bench and punched the Argentinean's centre back to cause him a broken nose, following a dispute between teammate Carlos Marchena and Burdisso. Meanwhile, UEFA is set to announce fines imposed on both Navarro and Marchena along with three other Inter players on Wednesday morning.
