Ahmed Belal confirmed his talks with Ahli and said the move should be sealed during January. The international striker told FilGoal.com that he wants to return home to win titles, something that could be hardly achieved at his current side Konyaspor. Ahli approached their former forward in a bid to reinforce their front line which includes Emad Meteb, Flavio Amado, Osama Hassan and new-signing Abdul-Hamid Hassan. The 26-year-old declined to reveal the financial terms of the contract. Belal admitted that he held talks with Zamalek but said that he preferred to rejoin the African champions. He was Ahli's top scorer from 2001 to 2003 but a nagging knee injury kept him on the sidelines till he left to the Turkish League in 2005.
