Ahli midfielder Amr Fathi 'Samaka' faces a CAF disciplinary action after testing positive for a prohibited doping substance in an African Champions League tie. "CAF informed us that Samaka has failed a doping test following Ahli's African Cup clash against Algeria's JS Kabylie," the club's spokesman Muharam Al-Ragheb told FilGoal.com on Friday. "We will appeal against this result and will check all the medicines the player had took in the last three months to be sure that he didn't take drugs out of purpose," he added. The Egyptian champions' head of medical team Ehab Ali doubted the validity of the result. "This blood sample may not be Samaka's one, perhaps it is a mistake," he said.
