Mohamed Shawki put an end of speculations over his future and said he has signed on Monday a three-year extension with Ahli for an undisclosed fee. The Egyptian and African champions announced on Sunday extending the contracts of defender Islam Al-Shater and Shawki, who denied the reports but said talks are in progress for a new deal. "I demanded to be released should a 500.000-Euro offer or more is tabled by any European side," Shawki told FilGoal.com. "Ahli added this clause to the contract and then I had no problem in signing it." Shawki is the seventh star to extend his stay with Ahli this season, following in the footsteps of Al-Shater, Mohamed Abou-Treika, Mohamed Barakat, Essam Al-Hadari, Shadi Mohamed and Emad Al-Nahhas.
