Eduardo put Dinamo ahead in the Emirates Stadium in the 12th minute after Arsenal's Ivorian defender Kolo Toure cleared the ball into his path. Freddie Ljungberg equalized for the hosts in the 77th minute when he headed home a Robin van Persie cross. Teenager Theo Walcott set up Mathieu Flamini in the stoppage time to secure the victory. Turkish side Galatasaray advanced to the same stage with a 6-3 victory after tying Mlada Boleslav to a 1-1 draw. Counterparts Fenerbahce failed to book their ticket to the round of the 32 after being held to a 2-2 draw by Dynamo Kyiv. They lost the first-leg 3-1. FC Copenhagen stunned hosts Ajax Amsterdam 2-0 to advance despite being on the brink of elimination with their 2-1 home defeat in the first match. Greece's AEK Athens, Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk, France's Lille and Russia's CSKA Moscow also advanced to the group stage.
