Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon said he is still hopeful of signing AC Milan Brazilian play maker Ricardo Kaka, Spanish daily Marca reported on Thursday. "I believe it is still possible to acquire the services of Kaka," Marca quoted Calderon as saying to Real Madrid TV. Calderon promised to lure the Brazilian international to Santiago Bernabeu during his election campaign to become Real's president, although Kaka extended his contract with Milan until 2011. "I had the objective to sign Kaka when I was candidate. My aim is to see all Real fans happy." Calderon said Los Meringues coach Fabio Capello and sporting director Predrag Mijatovic are also confident that Kaka will join the Spanish giants. Real Madrid signed Fabio Cannavaro, Emerson and Ruud van Nistelrooy during the off-season.
