Italian giants AC Milan may not take part in next season's UEFA Champions League, despite included on a list of clubs submitted by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). European football's governing body, UEFA, will hold a meeting on Thursday to discuss the entries in UCL next season. "The meeting has been set up to take a decision on Italy's participants for the European competition during next season," a UEFA spokesman was quoted as saying by Italian media on Wednesday. Milan were thrown out of the UCL after court deducted 44 points from their account last season for their part in the match-fixing scandal that rocked Italian football. However, the new ruling gave the Rossoneri the green light to participate in the UCL third qualifying round. Inter Milan and AS Roma will qualify directly to the UCL group stage, while Milan and Chievo Verona will enter from the third qualifying round.
