Saudi Arabia striker Sami Al-Jaber has announced his retirement from international football following his side's 1-0 defeat to Spain on Friday. "This has been a great memory for me," Al-Jaber was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Saturday. The veteran Al-Hilal striker, who made 160 international appearances during his career, decided to quit international football after Saudi Arabia finished their short World Cup campaign at the bottom of Group H. "All four World Cups I have been at have been special, but I'm so pleased to sign off here (at the World Cup finals) with a goal (against Tunisia)," Al-Jaber added. Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Deayea, the world's most capped player with over 180 appearances, has also hung his international boots.
