Sami Al-Jaber said on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia should follow Ukraine's footsteps and emulate their quick and strong comeback when his side take on Spain in their last Group H game. Saudi Arabia were humiliated 4-0 by Ukraine on Monday, the same score line Andriy Shevchenko's side suffered in their opening game defeat against Spain. "Ukraine lost by a four-goal margin against Spain but they managed to gather themselves back and beat us with the same result," Al-Jaber was quoted as saying by local paper Al-Riyadh. "We should learn the lesson and emulate this success by hitting four goals against Spain," added the Saudi Arabia captain, who found the net in three World Cups so far. On Friday, Saudi Arabia face group leaders Spain, who already secured a place in the next round after collecting six points from two games. They are in the basement of the group with only one point, trailing Tunisia who have the same tally on goal difference. After their thrilling 2-2 draw with Tunisia in the opening game, Saudi Arabia were expected to produce at least a similar display against Ukraine but Al-Jaber failed to explain why did his team couldn't. "We have no excuse at all. All ingredients were in place for a good game and we didn't expect such a heavy defeat," he said. The Hilal striker, though, threw some blame on the refereeing. "I believe I was fouled in the area and we should have awarded a penalty-kick in this play."
