The Egyptian national team will face Sweden in an international friendly on February 8th, 2007, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said on Monday. The EFA reached an agreement with their Swedish counterparts to hold the game in celebration of CAF's 50th anniversary, an EFA source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com. "EFA president Samir Zaher who is currently in Germany met with Sweden's officials and agreed on a date to hold the friendly," the source said. The Swedish officials agreed to play the game with their first-tier players like Freddie Ljungberg, Zlatan Ibrahimovic among others. Egypt's lost to Spain 2-0 in their last international friendly against Spain on June 3rd.
