Tunisia call up Guemamdia to replace injured Meriah

Striker Haykel Guemamdia was called up to replace injured Mehdi Meriah in Tunisia's World Cup squad.
Under FIFA regulations, Tunisia coach Roger Lemerre was allowed to draft the 24-year-old goal getter in place of the injured Meria.
Guemamdia provides the French coach with an attacking option for the team's campaign kick-off against Saudi Arabia in Wednesday's Group H match.
The Strasbourg player is the second replacement Lemerre has made to his 23-man squad after Bastia's Chaouki Ben Saada replaced Issam Jomaa who returned home with a knee problem.
Guemamdia could be deployed as a stand-in for Tunisia's star striker Francileudo Santos has been ruled out of the game against Saudi Arabia.
