Ghazl Mahalla beat Harras Al-Hodoud 2-0 in the Egyptian league on Monday to stay away from the relegation zone. Reda Metwalli struck the opener for Mahalla in the 33rd minute before veteran Ekrami Abdul-Aziz sealed the victory with a 53rd minute goal. The win put Mahalla temporarily in 8th place on 24 points while Al-Hodoud remain in fourth spot on 34 points. Meanwhile, Enppi were held to a goalless at Ittihad Alexandria in their postponed league match that took place also on Monday.
