Newcastle striker Michael Owen is surprisingly included in his side's squad to face West Bromwich Albion in the Premiership on Saturday, Magpies official website reported on Friday. The England international has been sidelined since breaking a bone in his foot against Tottenham on New Year's Eve. The news will be a huge boost to England coach Sven Goran Eriksson ahead of the World Cup, as Owen was not expected to feature before a week at least. Newcastle caretaker coach Glen Roeder also will be delighted by the return of the prolific striker as veteran Alan Shearer is unlikely to play again after sustaining knee injury.
