Harras Al-Hodoud lost to Libya's Al-Akhdar 1-0 in their Confederation Cup match on Friday. Senegalese striker Camara Sanosar notched the winner for the home side in the 15th minute with a neat finish. Al-Hodoud, who are making their debut in the tournament, set the pace most of the time but without efficiency. Both sides were negatively affected by the poor pitch and failed to impress the few supporters who turned out for the game. The second-leg of the preliminaries will take place in Alexandria on March fifth.
