Shehata names squad as Egyptian fans flood Cairo Stadium

Cairo-Ahmad Saied: Thousands of Egyptian fans flooded the Cairo International Stadium since the morning to support their national team in the final game of the African Cup of Nations against Ivory Coast on Friday.
Some 80,000 have filled the stands of the Cairo Stadium stands as doors were closed from 3pm, Filgoal.com's correspondent reported.

Mido not included in squad
Egypt boss Hassan Shehata named his squad for the final game which consisted of: Essam Al-Hadari, Ibrahim Saied, Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa, Wael Gomaa, Mohamed Barakat, Mohamed Shawki, Ahmed Hassan, Mohamed Abdul-Wahab, Mohamed Abou-Treika, Emad Meteb and Amr Zaki.
National team insider sources informed Filgoal.com that striker Ahmed Hossam Mido's suspension was upheld, which means the Tottenham striker will not be included in the Egyptian squad.
Mido will watch the game from the main tribune as a sign of support for his teammates and technical staff.
