Cairo Stadium-Ahmad Saied: Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said that he watching Angola play Togo in the African Cup of Nations on Sunday from the stands was very beneficial for him. Scolari told reporters that watching Angola helped him pinpoint their points of strength and weakness but refused to comment on their style of play. Angola were pitted with Portugal in Group D alongside Iran and Mexico in the World Cup finals that kick off on June 11th in Germany. Scolari said that he is convinced that Angola will perform better in the World Cup finals especially after all the injured players return to the squad. Angola stumbled out of the tournament despite beating Togo 3-2 to hand Congo, who lost to Cameroon 2-0, their second round berth.
