Tunisia striker Francileudo Dos Santos inspired his side to a 4-1 victory over Zambia with a magnificent hat-trick in their African Cup of Nations (ACN) opening match that took place on Sunday. James Chamanga grabbed the lead for Zambia in the early in the match before Dos Santos levelled for Tunisia two minutes past the half-hour mark. Riad Bouazizi put his side upfront with a second-goal eight minutes from the hour-mark while Dos Santos went on to complete his hat-trick with two more goals in the 83rd and 94th minutes. The defending champions temporarily grabbed the lead in the African Cup Group C, while waiting for the outcome of the South Africa and Guinea match on Sunday.
