Togo players agreed to head for Cairo for their team's African Cup of Nations (ACN) campaign after the Togo Football Federation (TFF) settled a dispute over bonus money. The Hawks were scheduled to leave for Egypt on Tuesday before the players started a depute with the TFF over their belated financial earnings. "They were asking for the money for qualifying for the African Cup of Nations - as some kind of morale booster," Togo coach Stephen Keshi told BBC Sport on Thursday. The Togolese players were seeking US$40,000 per player before settling the issue with the local federation with only half the price. Nevertheless, Keshi insisted that the unpleasant row before the start of the campaign on Friday came in a bad timing and affect the team warm-up. "The bonus crisis has affected the focus of my players for the past two days," Keshi said. Togo will face DR Congo on Saturday for their first game in Group B before facing Cameroon and Angola.
