Real Madrid playmaker Zinedine Zidane said he does not care much for the hat-trick he scored against Sevilla as he is with helping his side clinch an important victory in the Primera Liga. "I have never thought about scoring goals in the past and I don't now either, the important thing is that Real Madrid won the game," Spanish paper Marca quoted Zidane as saying in a press conference after Sunday's game. The France captain fed Jose Maria Guti for the opener before finding the net three times to lift struggling Real past their visitors with a 4-2 victory. The win help the Capital-side maintain fourth place in La Liga table. This was the first hat-trick ever for Zidane, who has won almost all the prestigious football titles including the World Cup, the European Cup and the UEFA Champions League, in addition to a host of domestic trophies in Italy and Spain. "This is my first hat-trick ever and it is certainly not a bad thing to do especially when you are 34 years old," he said. Zidane said the game was a new start for Real Madrid's domestic season and urged his teammates to seek improvement before resuming their Champions League campaign. "The season hasn't finished yet and we have shown that we can fight for a victory till the final whistle. It's time to play like a team and restore our self-confidence," the influential playmaker said. "The players and I have been improving physically and gradually you will see a better Real, especially in February when the Champions League resumes," Zidane added. The capital-based side are 13 points adrift of leaders and defending champions Barcelona. Real Madrid were paired with Arsenal in the first knock-out stage of the Champions League.
