Ahli Jeddah, Nassr, Al-Wehda and Ittihad Jeddah advanced to the Saudi Crown Prince Cup quarter-finals after beating Abha, Al-Ittifaq, Al-Faisali and Al-Riyadh clubs repectively in the round of 16 match-day that took place on Tuesday. Ahli gave Abha a 4-0 home drubbing thanks to a Tayseer Al-Jassem hat-trick and and a Tala Al-Mashaal winner. The one-sided match also witnessed Abha player Saied Morgan receive his marching orders in the second-half. Ittihad Jeddah scraped past Al-Riyadh club after Cameroonian ace Joseph-Desire Job struck in the 65th minute to snatch a hard-fought victory. Nassr clinched a victory over Al-Ittifaq after a dramatic last-gasp winner by Saad Al-Zahrani in the match that took place in Dammam. Al-Wehda also defeated second-division club Al-Faisaly 2-1 after Saudi league top scorer Eissa Al-Muhiani and Mohamed Al-Luhiani secured their side's victory. Nassr will now face Al-Wehda, while Ahli Jeddah will play against rivals Ittihad Jeddah in the highly-anticipated city-derby. The Crown Prince Cup round of 16 will conclude on Wednesday with four matches where Hilal will face Al-Ansar, Al-Hezm will play against Al-Shabab, Al-Taie will play against Al-Hammada and Al-Rouda will face Al-Qadisiya.
