Ahli have set a 1.5M Euros price tag for star defender Rami Rabiea, amid interest from Portugal's Sporting Lisbon. Rabiea, 21, has been targeted by Sporting for a possible transfer this summer, with Ahli requesting an official bid. Even though the Portuguese giants seem to have issued an offer, Ahli are still uninterested in opening talks. "Sporting have offered 550,000 Euros, which is not convincing for Ahli," football director Alaa Abdul-Sadek told FilGoal.com. "He is a key player for us. We responded with a counter offer of 1.5M Euros, that's Rami's price for us." Rabiea is currently considered a key member of the Egypt squad, with manager Shawki Gharib deploying him at center-half. The highly-rated defender is versatile enough to play at right back and central midfield.
