Ahmed Elmohamady put in a spectacular display to help Hull City edge out West Ham with a 1-0 English Premier League victory at the KC Stadium. A Robbie Brady 12th minute spot kick was enough for Hull to secure all three points following the slightest of contacts with Irish compatriot full-back Joey O'Brien. Elmo was instrumental for the Tigers throughout the game that saw him change his position to play as right wing, whipping in the cross that resulted in the penalty. The Egypt full-back was also crucial in preserving the Tigers' slender lead, clearing off James Tomkins' header off the line on 24 minutes. Elmohamady could have even doubled his side's advantage but was unlucky to see his header bounce off the post. Geddo missed out the game despite making his returning debut against Huddersfield last week, as he featured for 22 minutes in the League Cup fixture. Hull City claimed their 10th point to climb seventh in the league table as they host Aston Villa next weekend.
