Egypt forward Geddo netted the only goal for Hull City in a 1-0 Championship victory over Charlton. In his first start after joining from Ahli on loan, Geddo hit the winning goal on 33 minutes courtesy of another assist from Irish midfielder Robbie Brady. Geddo, who was replaced in injury time by Tom Cairney, makes it two goals in as many games for his new club. Egypt defender Ahmed Fathi made his debut by coming on as a 57th minute substitute, while full-back Ahmed Elmohamady played the whole game for Steve Bruce's side. Hull remain second on 59 points, closing the gap on leaders Cardiff to eight, but the latter have a game in hand.
