Amr Zaki has been recalled by Egypt manager Bob Bradley for the first time in seven months for the World Cup qualifier against Guinea on September 10. Zaki, who has joined Kuwait's Al-Salmiya this summer, is now back to Egypt's fold after a lengthy absence which saw him endure an inconsistent spell at Turkish side Elazigspor. The 30-year-old has been selected among nine foreign-based players, including Egypt U-20 forward Mahmoud 'Kahraba' who is now set for his senior debut after joining Swiss side Luzern. England-based duo Ahmed Elmohamady and Adam El-Abd – alongside Basel's Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Elneny - retained their places in the squad. Former Zamalek midfielder Ibrahim Salah, who switched to Saudi side Orouba this summer, was named along with Lierse's Hossam Ghaly and Rio Ave's Ahmed Hassan 'Koka'. Egypt meet Guinea in a game to spare next month as the Pharaohs have already booked a place in the final playoff round.
