Egypt U-20 star Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet' will not be joining Nottingham Forest because of Ahli's high asking price, according to a local newspaper. Trezeguet, 20, was strongly poised to join the Championship side on loan this summer, with Ahli willing to allow the transfer after the domestic league was suspended. But the Nottingham Post an agreement was not met as ‘no club have come close to matching their asking price for the midfielder'. Trezeguet, who scored a wonderful goal against England at the World Cup, has been linked with several other clubs including Nice and Atletico Madrid. The central midfielder claimed this month that he will be flying to France for a week-long trial at Nice within a few days. The youngster was, however, more willing to move to Nottingham, who were ready to sign him without a trial.
