Ahli veteran Mohamed Barakat will make a final decision on his future in 10 days. The 36-year-old, who put in a superb performance in Friday's 5-1 win over ENPPI, will run out of contract this summer and has yet to reach an agreement over a new deal with Ahli. Amid mounting speculation that he will hang up his boots this year, Barakat says his decision will be announced in a few days. “I am very happy with the big win over ENPPI. What matters for me is that Ahli won regardless of my two goals," the ex-Egypt international said. “I will announce my final decision in 10 days, whether to retire or stay on with Ahli. Once again I am saying I will play for no club in Egypt but Ahli. “There is a slight possibility I may go to play in the Gulf, but this step is still not very likely though." Barakat has been an inspirational figure for Ahli since arriving from Saudi Arabia's Ahli Jeddah in 2004.
