Geddo will miss Egypt's World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Mozambique next month due to a nagging foot injury. The 28-year-old aggravated an old injury while spending six months on loan at Hull City from Ahli, who confirmed his long-term absence. “Geddo will undergo foot surgery in England before returning to us," Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. “He is expected to miss out for two-to-three months." Geddo has been hopeful of winning a permanent deal at Hull after an encouraging start with the newly-promoted Premier League side. After his injury had impeded his progress at the KC Stadium, the former Ittihad man could now be staying in Egypt next season.
