Ahli insist Geddo's future could be in danger if he played before two months as a dispute with Hull City seems imminent. The Egypt striker, on loan from Ahli at Hull, aggravated a foot injury this month and has been out for a few days before returning to his team's line-up in Friday's Championship draw with Bristol City. Shortly after it was confirmed that he is in the Tigers' starting eleven, Ahli's website revealed that Geddo has a serious injury and shouldn't have played. “I have been in contact with the Hull medical staff and I told them that Geddo should not play before two months," Ahli doctor Ihab Ali told the club's website. “In case he played now, this injury could be further aggravated and may well have a negative impact on the player's future. “Sometimes the player feels no pain but with successive matches, this type of injury can force him on the sidelines for long spells. “I also called Geddo to tell him that in his condition, playing could be dangerous." Geddo featured for 67 minutes against Bristol as the goalless stalemate meant that Hull will have to wait at least one week before securing automatic promotion to the Premier League. Ahmed Elmohamady played the whole game but Ahmed Fathi remained as an unused sub ay the KC Stadium.
