Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka' scored Rio Ave's only goal in a 6-1 Portuguese league defeat at Benfica.
The Egypt starlet played 90 minutes as he grabbed a consolation goal when his side were 4-0 down after the break.
The match witnessed 12 yellow cards and three red between both teams, including two for Rio Ave's Jose Wires and Edimar.
Koka was forced to leave Egypt at the African Youth Championship to take part in the game as Rio Ave face another stern test against Porto in the league cup in midweek.
