Mido says he is looking forward to a coaching career in Europe after retiring from football. The 30-year-old is currently unattached after being released by English Championship side Barnsley in January and has been reportedly linked with an administrative job at old club Zamalek. However, Mido revealed other plans than a return to his homeland. "I have no intention of becoming part of the Zamalek board in the meantime," Mido told FilGoal.com. "I want to become a coach in Europe after finishing my playing career." Mido - an Egypt international - spent more than a decade playing in Europe with the likes of Ajax, Roma and Tottenham Hotspur. The future of the striker, who has been plagued by fitness and weight problems in recent years, is still unclear though as no club have been reportedly interested in his services so far. Former Egypt and Ahli defender Hany Ramzy, who also spent much of his career abroad, was the first Egyptian to manage a European club when he took charge of Lierse last November.
