Ahli forward Al-Sayed Hamdi could miss the Champions League round of 32 clash at Kenya's Tusker due to a hamstring problem, the club said on its website. Hamdi, 29, played only the first half of Ahli's 2-1 league victory on Sunday, as he revealed later that he pulled a hamstring during the game. He is now set to have scans to determine the full extent of his injury and whether he will be able to fly with the squad to Nairobi on Tuesday. The former Petrojet frontman has been a regular starter for manager Hossam Al-Badri this season but only hit a single goal in six league appearances. Hamdi is also in contention for a place in Egypt's squad for the World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe on March 26. Champions League reigning champions Ahli take on Tusker on Saturday as the return leg takes place three weeks later.
