Ahli's Liberian striker Francis Doe has been left out of the team's squad for the Champions League clash at home to Zimbabwe's Gunners on Friday. There was no room for Doe in the 19-man squad announced by coach Hossam Al-Badri for the round of 32 second-leg clash. The 24-year-old has played just two games with Ahli since recovering from a hamstring injury in December last year. He was included in their starting line-up for a league match against ENPPI last week but was substituted in the second half after failing to trouble opposing defense. Doe, who has scored three goals so far this season, is yet to win over Ahli fans after joining last summer. Egyptian international Emad Meteb is likely to be deployed as a lone frontman against Gunners. Six-time African champions Ahli will be looking to overturn a one-goal deficit, having suffered a stunning 1-0 defeat by Gunners in Harare in the first leg.
