Ahmed Fathi could make his full Hull City debut in place of injured defender Paul McShane against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday. Fathi, on a six-month loan from Ahli, came off the bench to replace McShane in the recent win over Charlton, which saw Egypt forward Geddo grab the only goal of the game. Hull said on their website that McShane is set to miss out on the home game, adding that ‘Fathi will be one of those now hoping for a start against Rovers'. Even though the Egypt defender is not currently a regular for the Tigers, coach Steve Bruce said last week that ‘Fathi will be a big player for the club'. Meanwhile, Geddo and Ahmed Elmohamady are set to retain their places as Hull look to cement their position in second place of the Championship table.
