Performance of the week After scoring on his Hull debut at Brighton as a sub, Geddo did it again by notching the winner against Charlton on his full debut. Al-Nenni was then benched in the following 2-1 Swiss league win over Lausanne, while Salah helped his side to the victory by winning the penalty that resulted in Basel's opener, featuring for the whole game for the first time in several months. Manager Hany Ramzy's Lierse leaked another three points after succumbing to a 2-0 Belgian league home loss to Mechelen as they now lie in penultimate position on 20 points. Only one Egyptian featured in the game in Lierse's top-scorer Mohamed Al-Gabbas who was taken off with 20 minutes left, as center half Ahmed Saied 'Ouka' and midfielder Ashour Al-Taqui were both benched. Saudi outfit Al-Shoalah, managed by Egyptian Mohamed Salah, slumped to a 4-2 defeat at giants Hilal, whereas Coach Tarek Yehia's relegation-strugglers Hajr clash with Al-Raed later this week.
