Zamalek new signing Ahmed Eid bagged a goal in his first match with the club, hitting the winner in a 1-0 friendly victory against MCDR on Sunday. Eid notched the sole goal of the game via a 25th minute spot kick that he won himself after being tripped inside in the area. The 32-year-old, who came through Zamalek youth setup, is regarded as the Whites biggest hit this winter after joining from Harras Hodoud on a two-and-a-half-year deal. Zamalek, managed by Portuguese coach Jorvan Vieira, kick off their Egyptian Premier League campaign against Ittihad in a few days.
