CAIRO - Egypt Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri will retain key ministers, including those handling defence and foreign affairs portfolios, in a new post-election Cabinet, but has left out some veterans, the Nile TV said last night The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) Chairman, Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, has asked el-Ganzouri to form the Cabinet following the resignation of Essam Sharaf government last week. "The ministers in the sovereign ministries such as Defence and Foreign Affairs are to continue," the Nile TV, monitored by The Egyptian Gazette, said, adding that a full Cabinet line-up will be announced today. Earlier in the day, el-Ganzouri met with Abdel Rehim el-Qenawy, the former head of Public Security Department, who is said to be a prime candidate to take the Interior portfolio.
