Egypt supports Yemen against rebels

SANAA - Envoys of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak delivered message to Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh on on Saturday, voicing Egypt's support to the Yemeni government in its fight against Houthi rebels, Egypt's official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit and Chief of of Egyptisn Intelligence Service Omar Suleiman, carried the message to Saleh.
"Co-operation between Egypt and Yemen, the Egyptian support for Yemen against Houthi militants well as the preparations for London meeting were the main themes of the discussion," Egypt's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossam Zaki said.
During the meeting, President Saleh discussed with the Egyptian officials a number of issues and topics that concern the two brotherly countries and the Arab nation.
