CAIRO - Egypt's Ministry of Justice questions on Sunday former speaker of the People's Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) Ahmed Fathi Surour on charges of being involved in the 'Battle of the Camel' last February, according to Al-Youm Al-Sabie. The local media had figuratively described deadly attacks launched on protesters on February 2 by camel and horse riders hired by symbols of the old regime as the 'Battle of the Camel'. Surour's detention pending investigation on the same case is expected to be further extended for another 15 days later in the day. Meanwhile, Illicit Gains Authority of the Ministry of Justice will interrogate on Sunday Elham Sharshar, the wife of ex-interior minister Habib el-Adli, regarding sources of her wealth. Sharshar is required to authenticate such sources to prove whether her fortune has been transferred to her through husband or not. Al Adli has been sentenced to l2 years imprisonment in a graft case.
