CAIRO - The first hearing in the trial of former Minister of Interior Habib el-Adly and four of his former top aides was adjourned to Tuesday from Saturday, which is a national holiday. El-Adly and four generals are being tried for the premeditated murder of protesters and attempted murder, as well as causing colossal damage to State property, during the popular revolt that toppled Mubarak's regime. According to a report by a fact-finding committee on the violence on 28 January and during the ‘Battle of the Camel' on February 2, published last week, 846 protesters were killed and more than 6,000 injured.
