CAIRO - The Giza Criminal Court in New Cairo, Monday said it would rule sentence against ex-Interior Minister Habib el-Adly on fraud charges on May 5. The court Monday concluded hearing arguments by the defendant's defence, the prosecution, and the plaintiffs, according to state news agency MENA. El-Adly is on trial for profiteering and money laundering. The former minister and four former aides are on trial in another case on charges of ordering the shooting of anti-regime protesters, during the revolt that toppled the Mubarak regime last February.
