Richard and his wife Christie went on a felucca (small boat) ride on the Nile on Friday after the iftar meal, which marks the end of dawn-to-dusk fasting
during Ramadan.
Richard: Asalam Alykoum ya raees. Ana wei zoogti
Christie awzeen neagger felucca aashan netfassah fei nahr elneel shweiyah.
Richard: Peace be with you, boss. My wife Cristie and I want to hire a boat so we can relax on the River Nile for a while.
Maraakbi: Wei allekum elsallam.
Ahlan wa sahlaan. Elmarkeb, 'weish el-kheir', moreiha wei amman.
Momken troho beiha leghaiyet el-manial wei nergaa tani leghaiet qasr el-neel
