KHARTOUM, Oct 9 , 2018 - A technical team from the Egyptian National Railways discussed over three days with officials of the Sudanese Ministry of Transport means to link the two countries through a railway from Egypt's Aswan to Wady Halfa in Sudan. Head of the delegation Mohamed Fouad Seleit told MENA correspondent in Khartoum that the project would represent an important step for transporting passengers and goods between Egypt and Sudan and also deepen trade relations between the two countries. He said the talks between the two sides came within the framework of deepening ties between the two sides. Seleit also said the 630KMs project, which would be carried out in 36 months, was proposed during Arab transport ministers' meeting in 2010.
