ASWAN: Egypt and Sudan will establish a custom area on the border between the two countries, after the completion of the paving of 27 km in Sudan, said the Sudanese consul in Aswan, Bilal Qassam Allah. The ambassador added the two sides put forth a diplomatic plan to accelerate the integration between the people of Egypt and Sudan. Qassam Allah noted that it is important to benefit from the infrastructure and services of Aswan, including ports, airports, and railways. Qassam Allah's statement came during a visit of the Sudanese public delegation of Wadi Halfa to Aswan. He stressed the importance of historical relations between Egypt and Sudan. He added that bilateral relations will create great development opportunities. Sudan also gifted Egypt 5,000 cattle. Meanwhile, Aswan's commercial chamber members met with the delegation to tackle the issues of starting mutual trade and providing custom services.
